What this site is

Percentages come up constantly: in pay rises, sale prices, tax bills, restaurant tips, test scores, and a hundred other everyday situations. Most people can muddle through, but it is easy to get the wrong answer, especially when the calculation runs backwards or involves more than one step.

This site is a collection of free percentage calculators built for exactly those moments. There are no sign-ups, no paywalls, and no ads cluttering the tool itself. Every calculator gives you the answer straight away, and then shows you the formula filled in with your actual numbers, so you can see exactly how the result was reached. That last part matters: an answer you understand is more useful than one you just have to trust.

The site was built by a UK-based developer with a background in digital publishing. It runs on Astro and is hosted on Cloudflare's network, which means pages load quickly regardless of where you are in the world.

How the calculations are checked

Every formula is checked against established mathematical sources before it goes live. Each page carries a "last reviewed" date showing when it was last verified. If something turns out to be wrong, it is corrected within 48 hours. If you spot an error, please get in touch and we will fix it promptly.
